Will love seeing Andy getting clobbered Sunday in the final.....there's just something about him I'm not fond of. Can't wait for all the crying brits come Sunday.

Dick-ovic won.

Really rooting for Juan Martin...the sooner Dick-ovic and the Limey Bastard disappear from the tennis scene, the happier I'll be!

Although I'll still cheer on Andy if I happen to watch just because he'll never win more than one or two of these. Stopping Djoker is my primary concern.

12. Who's the "Limey Bastard"?

The only Brit I see around is Andy Murray, who is Scottish. Limeys are English.

is that Andy Murray is British when he wins, Scottish when he loses.

It's clear from some of the US news sources that they haven't worked out just yet that Scotland is not actually part of England.

I really don't like him, but the only good thing is that it means Djoker isn't going to dominate like I feared...I want the wealth spread around some.

7. I didn't see this match as an upset at all -

Djokovic and Murray are both 26 years old and great returners. We have Roger on the downswing of his career and Rafa often ailing with injuries. These two should be fighting battles and winning - with younger guys breaking through as well. I would have been surprised had Murray not won. He was in the semi-final here last year, won the Olympics, and won the US Open. Djoker may have won a few more finals but he is not that much better in terms of technique - just has more confidence. I have a feeling with this match that advantage will be lessened somewhat.

The women's side was much more open ...

9. actually, Murray lost in the finals to Roger last year

...I think the rest of your post is absolutely correct, though, especially about the relative closeness of Murray and Djoker in terms of technique. I've always been amazed that it took Murray until last year to break through, but he always seemed to become more passive and far too cute on the big points until Lendl reigned in those tendencies somewhat.

10. and this is no a knock on his personality, he didn't cry today either......I think Lendl instilled

in him that he IS capable of WINNING the big one and last years loss broke him, but a more mature player this year, and he KNEW he would win it. JMHO.

...after that Semi Final win over Del Potro. That really was an epic match. Almost as good as the Nadal / Federer Wimbledon final in 2008.

Between exhaustion and having the crowd against him I don't think he was really into it. I still don't think he's that much better than Andy, but he definitely didn't look like he was ready to give it his all in that performance.
