Cleveland's Danny Salazar no-hits Toronto through five in MLB debut

With fastballs reaching as high as 99 mph, Salazar recorded seven Ks, the most in a Cleveland pitcher's debut since Luis Tiant in 1964. He lasted six innings total, giving up two hits and one run in 89 pitches. Cleveland won 4-2.

Salazar was signed by Cleveland out of the Dominican Republic in 2006 at the age of 16. He was out all of 2011 while recovering from Tommy John surgery.

He joins the many very impressive rookies making their MLB debuts the past few months.
