Former San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson has signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers, according to Tim Brown of YahooSports. Brown also reports that Wilson had three offers and will be reporting to the Dodgers minor league system.
The Chronicles John Shea reported earlier in the month that Wilson had worked out in front of Giants coaches. A source said he was not far from major-league quality.
Wilson underwent the second Tommy John surgery of his career on April 19, 2012 and has been a free agent since the end of that season.
Wilson had 171 saves with the Giants, third all-time behind Rod Beck and Robb Nen.
