I'm going to see my Dad and his new wife tomorrow night on my way back to MD. He and his wife are 85. My mom died three years ago after a long battle with dimentia.

But the thought of ever getting married again was completely out of the question! It was weird, he could date, but no more than that, because he felt he would be cheating on my mother!

Mine died five years ago from Alzheimers. I had been her guardian and conservator for six years. I scattered a lock of her hair on her parents graves in New Castle when I went back there two years ago.

Hey! The Rockies just scored four on the Buccos!

There's a bunch of those... uh... people up there. Why don't you go see a Slippery Rock game this fall? They used to announce all their scores during Longhorn games for humor.

Fucking Amish. Leaving shit piles all over the road!!

Fuck Slippery Rock, I going to see Ohio Northern this fall and probably a high school game or two. BTW, has Zac Dysert seen any action in training camp this year??

And I hate the fucking Amish because they run puppy mills.

He transferred to Youngstown from New Castle in 1940. After we placed him in a nursing home in Dallas because of his dementia, he continued to give car switching orders to the other residents.

Genealogy is a pretty cool thing. An Aunt of my coal miner grandfather was a moonshiner and bootlegger. I guess that might explain a few things!!

It was very dangerous, also, as I had several gg-uncles who died in mine accidents.

My grandmother was a teacher which helped them get through the Depression, though being a woman made it harder for her to find work.
