(Three of them turned out to be teabaggers who refused to socialize with a Kenyan Muslin. )

Back in the day, the President would call the winning coach after the game and congratulate the team then.

That is why the 1972 Dolphins didn't make a White House visit.

It isn't that the Dolphins were ignored or slighted in any way.

This was not about politics. It was about the TEAM. The 3 of them forgot about that and only hought of themselves. Well they missed a nice ceremony and an even nicer opportunity. It isn't everyday that the President of the United States invites you to the White House. Just sayin!

I heard today that Jordan also didn't show in 91. Don't know what his problem was either. It's stupid to interject your politics into a sporting event!!

If I were to do something notable and Sens. McConnell and Paul wanted to shake my hand, then I would do it even though I despise both of them.

Just basic decency.
