College: University of California Los Angeles
Year: Sophomore
The son of Sean "P. Diddy" or "Puff Daddy" Combs, Justin Combs is attending UCLA on a $54,000 football scholarship. The son of a multi-millionaire, Combs faced a lot of criticism for accepting the scholarship, but the 5-foot-9, 170-pound defensive back defended his decision to accept the scholarship, tweeting that he "put that work in" and earned the scholarship. Combs was red-shirted for the 2012 season and didn't see game time, but he has four remaining years of eligibility.

It doesn't matter if he turns out to be Justin Football. His dad keeps $54,000 in checking. That's one less scholarship they have for a player who really needed it. I'm faulting UCLA more for offering it than the kid for taking it.

I hope he will reconsider this and donate the money to charity or back to the school.

Puff Daddy, P Diddy, and whatever the phuck he calls himself would be the first to say that he wasn't.

The money comes from athletic department revenue which exceeds 8 digits.
I doubt UCLA fills 85 of the allotted football scholarships they can give, so i doubt someone is being left out.

If that were commonplace, why would programs be docked scholarships for recruiting violations?

Do you really think that UCLA football has 85 players that are good enough for scholarships?
