It was 2-0 when I got home..quickly 5-0. Pedroia's boot really changed things... NRaleighLiberal Oct 2013 #1
I think it *might* go 7. Two tough teams who want it badly. ScreamingMeemie Oct 2013 #2

Not sure if it should be on Peavy (7 ER) or Sox LOB or Pedroia, but good victory for the tiggers.....2-2. will it go 7?

Unhappy here (of course), but congrats for another good Det pitching performance.

The lineup shakeup for Detroit worked better than I thought it would. Thanks... See ya next game.

helped fire up the team, I bet!

Very interesting....I think you will see Bogaerts instead of either Drew or Middlebrooks...both playing poorly.

Used to take the bus (DSR) down Grand River to Trumbell for Saturday afternoon games. Saw Frank Lary beat the Yankees once. Saw Don Mossi pitch a two hitter. I remember Tiger's great catcher Dick Brown before Tiger's best catcher, Bill Freehan.

And Hank Aguirre still almost never had a hit, but he could sure pitch smoke.

My favorite player? Easy. Dick McAuliffe. Lots of class. A consummate professional.
