NFL will never release any report before Super Bowl. This is a ratings bonanza. (Original Post) chelsea0011 Jan 2015 OP

still reeling from the big collapse.

But I can't see anything.at.all being done now. The super bowl is lined up, big weekend in AZ, sponsors in place.

In the off-season they'll have to look at Ballghazi and decide what changes they will make, what types of penalties there will be for violations, etc. As a Packers fan I have read stories about Aaron Rodgers and his over-inflated balls. So, how can they penalize NE if other teams have been doing similar things?

And they will have to decide what to do about the domestic violence/child abuse/homicide (hello Hernandez) issues. Again, what are the guidelines, what types of penalties, etc. So there is something in place and they don't have to reinvent the wheel each time depending upon how popular the player is (which is what they seem to do now).

It would be great if they politely asked Goodell to leave and start fresh with someone new, but I don't really expect the NFL to do that either.

And I certainly don't expect them to do anything this week.
