Watch Russell Wilson crush a home run at Rangers camp

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mlb-big-league-stew/watch-russell-wilson-crush-a-home-run-at-rangers-camp-162737710.html

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson probably isn't going to quit his day job. The 26-year-old already has a Super Bowl ring, and is set to receive a massive pay raise this offseason.

But, if he ever wanted a change, Wilson could turn to baseball. Wilson was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2010, but was acquired by the Texas Rangers in 2013. He's attended Rangers spring training in each of the past two seasons. Tim Brown profiled Wilson's most recent appearance at Rangers camp....

While Wilson told Brown he would "never say never" when it came to giving baseball another shot, it appears he's more focused on his football career at the moment.

That decision is probably for the best. Wilson has experienced a ton of success on the football field, and the Rangers already have a promising, young second baseman in Roughned Odor.

Oh, please, please, please pull a Michael Jordan! Of course, all that would do at this point is hand the division over to Arizona.

And, Roughned Odor?

but this guy is a terrific athlete. Could he play in the majors? We don't know but he certainly got drafted and played AA ball. If you get to AA you have a major league swing. The question is can you hit the curve. It is also why he has such a good arm. Anyone drafted in baseball can really throw. You have to throw the ball in the eighties.

When I saw RG 3 and Wilson the first year i said the Wilson was the better athlete by the way he ran. He ran fast without looking like he was running. He was super fluid. great athletes make things look easy.

Two weeks after Russell Wilson threw a 75 mph first pitch at a Yankees-Mariners game, San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick clocked at 87 mph on first pitch (to Hell with control if you got heat).

Come to think of it, Snyder might want to work him out.

The real arms are often found in the outfield. Hell, even third basemen got a rocket arms.
