those 2 added style to the game

Although I must admit watching Stan roll in and take the trophy was pretty sweet. Wicked backhand ...

I adored Guga. For me that was even better than the usual sight of Santoro, even in a kilt!

That was one heck of a match.

I think this was Djoker's best chance, Roger is past it and now Rafroid...he could win it next year, but who knows who might be coming up by that time.

Stan kept that level of play up throughout. Down 0-3 in the 4th, it seemed like Djokovic was wearing him down and would win an endurance contest.

But those atomic backhands reappeared.

Djokovic is 100% class though. Hard to not like that guy.

But I was pulling for Stan from the start. It would be nice to see someone other than the "Big 3" win the Grand Slams. Heck my husband was rooting against Serena for the same reason.

one major combined since 2013.

Wawrinka is 30--2 years older than Djokovic which makes this even more amazing.

I think Djokovic gets the French next year.

But clearly he has some sort of mental block at the French, not so much this year but last year when it was his to lose...and he did.
