And when weird started snowballing, the veteran Tigers didn't much resemble the team that has turned in a memorable four-month run to get to the College World Series.

Pestered by four errors, which matched a season-worst, and again shackled offensively after a handful of early chances came up dry, No. 1-ranked LSU tumbled to a 10-3 loss against 4th-ranked TCU Sunday at TD Ameritrade Park.

The Tigers (53-11) managed only 8 hits, 5 against crafty Horned Frogs' starter Preston Morrison in the first 7 innings, and that was a major part of the losing equation.[/font]
