Strong start lifts El Paso Chihuahuas to home win against Albuquerque
The El Paso Chihuahuas continued their strong play on their current seven-game homestand with an 8-5 win vs. Albuquerque on Tuesday night at Southwest University Park.
El Paso (36-35) took three of four from Salt Lake before opening up this three-game set vs. Albuquerque (31-41).
The Isotopes took two of three from the Chihuahuas last week in Albuquerque.
The Chihuahuas took control of the game early, scoring four runs in the first inning and three in the second.
