Cordell Broadus (Snoop Dog's Son) Quits UCLA Football Team Will Stay In School

Wide receiver Cordell Broadus, the son of rapper Snoop Dogg, has quit the UCLA football team.

Head coach Jim Mora confirmed the decision in a statement.

"Cordell informed me yesterday that he has decided to pursue other passions in his life — in particular his love of film through his company Film School Productions," Mora said. "Cordell is an amazing young man with many talents, and we wish him nothing but the best as he continues to pursue his degree at UCLA."

Broadus had not been at UCLA's training camp at all this week, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Decided it wasn't worth it. It could be as simple as that. Plus, no more testing for weed. In any case, it sounds like things were handled better than they were with Diddy's kid.
