Broncos cut Zac Dysert

KUSA -The Denver Broncos have started cutting and moving players off their roster this morning as they trim from 90 players to 75.

Zac Dysert, the team's third-strong quarterback the previous two seasons, was among those waived on Monday morning. The Broncos also traded offensive tackle Chris Clark -- who started 17 games including the Super Bowl at left tackle in 2013 -- to the Houston Texans in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the 2016 draft. Moving Clark is good news for Michael Schofield, a third-round draft pick in 2014 who would now be slated to become the Broncos' swing tackle behind Ty Sambrailo and Ryan Harris on game days.

Dysert was selected in the seventh round of the 2013 draft out of Miami of Ohio, where he broke most of Ben Roethlisberger's career passing records. But Dysert was beaten out during this preseason by rookie Trevor Siemian, who was drafted in the seventh round this year by Northwestern....

He was also cut last year but ended up on the practice squad.
