Sharapova was very gracious in defeat but I'm thrilled to see Vika take this.

The obnoxious Bryan brothers lost to Stepanek and Paes. Weirdly, I was somehow rooting for the Bryan brothers.

FWIW, I was happy to see Hingis there for the trophy presentation of the women's singles. I still miss her.

The same Hingis that called Amelie Mauresmo,"half a man"? ..... I can't stand her.

in part because she's training younger players now, in part because she would have had to have jumped through tons of hoops to qualify (playing for the Swiss Fed Cup team), and in part because she told Federer that it'd be crazy for him to play singles, doubles, and mixed in the olympics because it's in such a compressed time frame.

I think she's just a genius with a racquet. She's said things I find objectionable, sure, but most of them happened when she was very, very young.
