Manziel is officially last on the depth chart.
In the wake of Josh McCown's season-ending broken collarbone injury, the Browns announced Austin Davis will serve as the team's starting QB when Cleveland plays host to the rival Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday....
Indeed, Davis completed seven of his 10 passes against the Ravens for 77 yards and the game-tying touchdown on a a 42-yard strike to Travis Benjamin in the game's final two minutes. If not for The Most Browns Play Ever, the Browns may have snapped the five-game losing streak that now stands at six.
Remarkably, Davis is an undrafted 26-year-old who walked on to the Southern Miss football team in 2007. Meanwhile, Manziel remains just 22 years old and is less than two years removed from being drafted No. 22 overall, but you wonder whether this decision will ultimately spell the end of Manziel's career in Cleveland.
