Blackhawks embark on historic road trip

The Blackhawks arrival in Vancouver Monday signaled the beginning of a nine-game road trip over 20 days -- the second-longest stretch of road games in franchise history.
In 1993-94, the Hawks also faced a nine-game trip covering 8,188.1 miles (13,177
4 kilometers) and finished 4-5.
While this trip has the same number of games, the distance traveled is slightly shorter with the team slated to go 7,839.5 miles (12,616.3 KM).
