I would say congratulations are in order for Stephen Strasburg

First pitcher to reach 15 wins in 2016.

Started 20 games, pitcher of record in 16 of them. Averaged 6 2/3 innings a start. 2.63 ERA. In the last seven games he is 5-1 with a 1.89 ERA. Guy is dialed-in.

Nats did him right by shutting him down. Might have cost them a WS but may have prolonged his career.

At least i think, is that since the surgery, his "stuff" is less filthy, but he seems like a craftier pitcher. Location and change of speed, even though he can still bring it 96 or 97. His slider doesn't sprain knees anymore, but he throws it for strikes better than he used to.

He's a stud.
