Redefining the term "nosebleed seat"

Speedway seat? Goodyear Blimp seat? Moon Seat?

The "Battle at Bristol" between Tennessee and Virginia Tech on Saturday night set a new NCAA football attendance record.

An official crowd of 156,990 saw the Volunteers and Hokies play at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. The attendance figure dwarfed the old record of 115,109 for Notre Dame at Michigan in 2013.

I briefly channel surfed over to that game as they were showing a closeup of a couple of race cars parked up on the banked curve and initially thought, "Uh-oh, a NASCAR 'Red Flag' event serious enough to interrupt a football game". I didn't stay with that game long enough to make the NASCAR/football connection.

Fireworks, Flags, and football! Woohoo!
