Up until last night:
"Hey, J. Where you from?"
"Grew up in Chicago and Northern Illinois."
"So, you're a Cubs fan?"
"No, I'm a fan of the Chicago baseball team that's actual won championships in the last century."
What am I going to say now?
But congrats to the Cubs. My dad passed away a couple of years ago and he was a die-hard Cubs fan who always wondered how he could have bred a Sox fan. I'm sure he's frolicking today and telling me "I TOLD you so."
