Pittsburgh Steelers coach Joey Porter arrested hours after team's playoff win over Miami, police say
Pittsburgh police said Sunday night that Steelers outside linebackers coach Joey Porter was arrested after an altercation on the South Side just hours after his team's playoff win over Miami.
Sonya M. Toler, a public information officer with the City of Pittsburgh, said that at 9:30 p.m. security guards at a bar on the South Side summoned a police officer due to an unruly customer.
Toler said that customer was Porter, and that he was arrested.
Steelers spokesperson Burt Lauten confirmed that the team was aware of an incident and provided the following statement:
