(1,611 posts)....and I, also, will be taking Classic Empire in the Derby. He has had a very troubled Derby prep season but I believe him to be the most talented colt in his crop.
I've never been to Oaklawn but it is one of the places on my bucket list.

(1,611 posts)....he's a come from the back type of horse. He's bred to get 10f, easy. He's finished well in all his stakes attempts.

(1,611 posts)....looks like an Exaggerator kinda horse. He worked this morning over a muddy Churchill track and he looked like he loved it.

(15,224 posts)I can't believe I'm picking a horse trained by Todd Pletcher because I really don't like him, but Baffert doesn't have any entries that I see. I liked the look of Always Dreaming in the Florida Derby.
Onward to the Run For The Roses!!!! May the best 2-year old win!

(1,611 posts)....and yeah, it's hard to root for Pletcher. But I do like his one-eyed horse, Patch and hope he does well.
