WTF Is Up With Can Newton?

He insults a female reporter for asking a a question about receivers? (Jordan Rodiguer I think)
Then when the team addresses it, still no apology?
When did he become an irredeemable tool?
He can't answer a legit football question because it came from "a girl"?

He has not been remotely the same since...as a player and as a representative of the sport.

Sad, but when he couldn't beat the Broncos, he has simply not been the same person since....some guys entire careers are derailed by moments like that...his is not a good trajectory.

I'm curious as to whether Cam and the Panthers can build on the momentum from last week when they actually put some points on the board. They're up against Detroit on Sunday, and the Lions' D has been performing beyond expectations so far this season.

His father was offered about $200,000 for his son to attend Auburn. Kind of interesting with the FBI probe

You're right. But the supposed investigation turned up nothing. I doubted that then and even more so now.

when dealing externally - recently leading up to the super bowl he and his dad had to show some reform, which was shaky when at its best. When his public persona 'caved', he revealed how thinly veiled this reform was. He doesn't like the media criticism, and made attempts in response to this criticism publicly, so it's not like he doesn't care - he just isn't wired to be the type of person we like to see in high profile, successful leaders in sports. It does not appear that he was raised that either, so he probably has no perspective. It is obvious he is the type of person to be a better winner than loser, which reflects on his competitive nature. The best competitors use set backs to as well as success to fuel inspiration and motivation. The best competitors use negative items as 'bulletin board material' - articles, quotes, etc. to put in places such as locker room bulletin boards to motivate harder work, stronger emotion, determination, etc. Don't expect much more than you see from him. He has been at this for a while. Unfortunate. It's always a waste.

As for why the hell, he's not as smart as he thinks he is.

And I'm not just using a cliché there. I mean it.

The racist shit she tweeted was ten times worse than Cam saying her comments were funny because she was a woman.
