Cross Vin Scully off my folks I admire list.....hes not watching another NFL game.....

Vin Scully said Saturday night that he will “never watch another NFL game” in response to the ongoing demonstrations by some players during the national anthem.

Speaking at “An Evening with Vin Scully” at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Saturday, the longtime Los Angeles Dodgers announcer was asked about the response from owners, players and commissioner Roger Goodell to the demonstrations, which players have used to protest racial injustice and police brutality.

“I have only one personal thought, really. And I am so disappointed,” Scully said, according to multiple videos of the moment posted on social media. “I used to love, during the fall and winter, to watch the NFL on Sunday. And it’s not that I’m some great patriot. I was in the Navy for a year. Didn’t go anywhere. Didn’t do anything. But I have overwhelming respect and admiration for anyone who puts on a uniform and goes to war. So the only thing I can do in my little way is not to preach. I will never watch another NFL game.”

As someone who understands PTSD women are more likely to suffer an event outside of war plus many people that live in a concentrated poverty high crime can also have PTSD.

We had guns armour except for the Third Country Nationals helping us for very low pay they were actually human trafficked but I felt safe for the most part that is a different story when it comes to the US and gun violence.

I've listened to him doing Dodger games since I was 10 years old (I'm 56 now), and as I got older, I began to understand through his musings as he was announcing Dodger games that he's a thuglican, which is his right. He's an old white guy, so of course he doesn't give one shit about African-Americans being shot at or straight out murdered like big game animals just because they're black or because they look suspicious. IF he has grand kids, he doesn't have to worry about them either. The officers who've gone rogue or who are rogue police officers aren't going after his grand children etc. like big game animals.

believe he'll carry through on this threat. He'll probably be back to watching football again in a few weeks (if not earlier). This is just a ploy for attention and might even be an attempt to further distort the message of these protests.
