WatchESPN - buffering constantly?

Anyone else seeing constant buffering? And not just prime time games?

I'm on 100mbps and tests typically show about 20% more than that. I can stream multiple HD movies from Netflix and/or Amazon at the same time. But WatchESPN by itself is worthless. Ugh

The Internet actually consists of "fast lanes" and "slow lanes" mixed together. If they haven't assured enough bandwidth is provided for their service you can get problems like this. Contact WatchESPN and report your issue to them and maybe they can figure out what the problem is.

problem and they they aren't assuring enough bandwidth is available for their service. This isn't
necessarily about "net neutrality" but rather more about how the Internet actually works how how
content providers are ultimately responsible for providing sufficient bandwidth for their service.
Netflix had this issue a lot for a while until they gave up trying to get other people to carry
their traffic for free and realized they were responsible for paying for their huge traffic and
took steps to make sure they had enough bandwidth for their customers around the country.

Here's a short explanation from Netflix on what they are doing now to assure their customers can get reliable streaming:

Quality streaming video takes a lot of bandwidth and if a company doesn't put the money and effort in to do it right
poor streaming experience is often the result.

I get 240 mbps and it's buffering. When I watch it on my cable providers web app, it's fine.
