watching the NCAA Softball Championship series...

Holy smokes these women are talented! Makes me wish I was young again ....

Even though my team got beat in the Regionals.
I played when I was in good shape in my 30s, but no way I could make benchwarmer on those teams.

Every time i see one of those young women in the field or at the plate with a face guard, i can't help but wonder why everyone doesn't do that.

I know in baseball everybody is farther away from a hit or pitched ball, but the ball is going faster and it's harder.

This just seems to be common sense.
