Bloomberg 99.1 in DC thought Friday morning traffic was light because Caps won
They must be unaware of the federal payroll calendar.
Today is the end of the two-week pay period.
Many Feds are on the schedule of 5 days, then 4, totaling 80 hours.
They tend to take the last day in the pay period off.
Especially since taking off on 25 May meant that they would get a 4-day weekend for Memorial Day.
So the traffic lightening was not due just to the Caps win.
