Snowboarder Ellie Soutter dies aged 18

Rising snowboard star Ellie Soutter heartbroken French boyfriend left a poignant message after the star is believed to have killed herself on her 18th birthday.

After her death the British Ski and Snowboard have urged people to get ’support’ from the suicide prevention charity Samaritans.

Tributes to the Surrey-raised star - who dreamt of representing Team GB at the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022 - have poured in.

Recent boyfriend Oscar Mandin posted a picture of them together near Big Ben with the message 'Goodbye Ellie' and a red heart.

I can't imagine for her family.
