For what it's worth, he's wanted to wear the pinstripes since, well, since he was a kid.

Personally, I'd love to see him end up on a West Coast National League team even if he ends up playing against my Giants. On the other hand, does he know the Giants AT&T park was designed for a left-handed slugger?

Heard from so many directions but when the dust settled, Harper is still a Nat.
Tons of movement at the deadline, too!

I didn't hear of anyone coming to Washington.

Then again, they only put up 25 runs yesterday. Not sure you'd want to tinker with that offense too much.

As to yesterday, once every several years kind of thing, and don't forget 6 of those runs were in one inning against an infielder.

Who, by the way, went to the manager and said "I want to pitch. No sense in tiring our relievers." Then the manager let him.

Seems the biggest moves were made by about 6 teams, like LA, NYY, Boston, Milwaukee, and (if i heard right) the Mariners. i think i heard something about Houston and bullpen, too.

A risky proposition. He's coming off a 75-game suspension as he faces a domestic assault charge. Justin Verlander, who has been outspoken on violence against women in the past, was put on the hotseat in regards to his new teammate. He admitted to not being entirely comfortable but said all the facts are not yet on the table with Osuna, so he's withholding judgment to an extent (trying to walk a fine line).

I fear the Yankees have too much depth. Don't want to see them at the top, but I think they're the favorites now.

I now remembering hearing about the Houston issue because they made public statements about zero tolerance on domestic abuse, and then they traded for him

Heard that on the radio simulcast of First Take yesterday and had forgotten.
