Furman basketball's Jordan Lyons ties NCAA record for 3-pointers(15)

Junior guard Jordan Lyons made 15 3-point field goals Thursday night, tying the NCAA record for 3-point baskets in a game.

Lyons hit 15 of 34 3-point attempts – he had only one two-point attempt – and finished with 54 points to lead the Paladins (4-0) to a 107-67 win over North Greenville at Timmons Arena.

His 34 attempts set a Division I record for 3-point attempts in a game, and his 54 points were the eighth-most in Furman history. He broke the Furman 3-point mark of eight in a game by making nine in the first half.
