TAMPA, Fla. San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster was arrested on suspicion of domestic-violence battery Saturday night at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay, where the team was staying before playing the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Team officials were unavailable for comment about Fosters arrest. The incident is the latest in a string of legal troubles for Foster over the past 10 months.
In May, a Santa Clara County Court judge dropped domestic-violence charges against Foster, a week after ex-girlfriend Elissa Ennis took the stand and recanted her allegations that Foster struck her in Los Gatos on Feb. 11.

(17,863 posts)Like they do in San Francisco. I still remember a case where a local police department officer was also the security guy for them, and he seemed to make a charge against another player go away (he was on seen even before the responding officers).

(31,174 posts)Bye Reuben. 49ers can add "play-making linebacker" back on the wish list.

(29,322 posts)He's playing new positions out of college and his 2nd year he's playing under a different defensive scheme and hasn't been consistent at all and receiving criticism at times but Foster was #2 right behind Reddick on Arians' draft board.

Sounds like Reddick needs time. New position, new scheme ...
