Reuben Foster claimed by Washington, put on commissioner's exempt list

The Washington Redskins claimed linebacker Reuben Foster off waivers from the San Francisco 49ers on Tuesday, three days after he was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor domestic violence.

Foster was subsequently placed on the commissioner's exempt list, meaning he cannot practice or attend games but can be at the team facility on "a reasonable basis" for workouts, meetings and other permitted non-football activities.

The NFL will continue to review the matter.

Washington's decision to claim Foster was not unanimous, a source said. And there is no guarantee Foster will ever play for the team.

According to the link, Washington was the only team to put in a waiver claim for Foster.

Colin Kaepernick kneels for the national anthem in a peaceful protest and is unofficially banned by the NFL. Ruben Foster and Adrian Peterson abuse women and children and are welcomed with open arms.

Alex Smith goes down two weeks ago and the 'RI's didn't call Kap.
Apparently, in todays DC, and the NFL. domestic violence is more palpable than kneeling for social justice

Adrian Peterson admitted he STILL beat his children, sometimes with a belt, last week. He was suspended because of child abuse of a similar nature. This time, the NFL hasn't even responded.

Kap was a super bowl quarterback.

Foster is an all time first round bust.

And who would have thought someone like Snyder would ignore abuse like this?

Well, i mean, aside from everybody that knows anything about Snyder.
