Internet blames Ted Cruz for Texas Tech's loss after he 'jinxed' Raiders with final-seconds selfie
Texas Tech didn't lose by a pinkie or because of defensive miscues during Monday night's NCAA men's national basketball championship game against Virginia.
Nope, blame Ted Cruz.
That's what the Internet is saying about the Republican U.S. senator from Texas after he tweeted a selfie of himself enjoying the game in a suite with 35 seconds left — and Tech clinging to a one-point lead, 66-65.
