Related: About this forumAnyone feeling the least bit sorry for the ailing New York Yankees?
Catcher Gary Sanchez added to the injured list today with a strained calf.
He joins Luis Severino, Dellin Betances, Troy Tulowitzki, Giancarlo Stanton, Miguel Andujar, Didi Gregorius and Aaron Hicks on that lengthy list.
The Yankees can look forward to the 2019 debut of pitcher CC Sabathia, however. He's expected to come off the IL either Friday or Saturday.
Anyway, to answer the question posed by this thread, I'm sure the answer is NO!!!!

(407 posts)I grew up as a Yankee fan. I pretty much had to be, since Yankee Stadium was just a short walk from where my family lived. Of course, in the fullness of time, I grew up. I met a man and we fell in love and then I discovered that he was a Mets fan. We decided not to try to persuade one another, and so we had a mixed marriage.
He passed away pretty young, and I decided that the Yankees could easily lose a fan, but the Mets, well not so easily. So I changed allegiance, and I have been a Mets fan ever since.
I still don't watch baseball on TV though. I am old enough to still think that baseball should be watched either from a seat in the stadium or in the newspaper.

But, oh yeah, Yankees.

(2,385 posts)as long as we don't hire one of Belichick's subordinates to replace him we will be ok.
Actually, maybe Brady can just go straight from QB to coach. Could you imagine the grumbling from his forcing the linemen to eat his diet

(17,339 posts)Between him and Cleveland's Corey Kluber, that's two veteran aces who are off to horrible starts. It's early in the season so they'll likely turn it around though.

I'm not a fan of the pinstripes, but I think Judge is a classy guy. Hope he bounces back quickly (did I mention he's on my fantasy team??)
