Colin Kaepernick gives free food, supplies to the homeless on his 32nd birthdayFormer San Francisco 49ers quarterback turned activist Colin Kaepernick spent part of his 32nd birthday on Sunday morning giving free food and supplies to homeless people in Oakland, Calif.
In footage shared on social media, the former NFL star could be seen handing out food, toiletries and Nike bags to homeless people in Oakland.
Kaepernick was accompanied by radio host Nessa, who is his girlfriend, as well as members of his Know Your Rights camp, a nonprofit group he founded that works to empower and educate black and brown communities in the country.
