(53,801 posts)Brady's team won a playoff game yesterday and it still in Super Bowl contention. Belichick's team didn't make the playoffs at all.

(783 posts)Just because you make the super bowl doesnt mean you are a good QB.....Trent Dilfer, Joe Flacco, Colin Kaepernick, amongst others

(53,801 posts)And we'll never know about Kaepernick since his career was unjustly cut short.
And Flacco had a great season that year he won the Super Bowl. Give credit where it due.

(783 posts)He was actually benched early in the season the year before. He never really was a very good QB. He rode a hot streak for a year and a half, was overhyped then faded quickly.

(53,801 posts)Look at Mayfield this year. New coach with a system that took advantage of his particular talents and he just beat the Steelers yesterday and his team is still in it. Many were saying he was washed up too.
Now what about Flacco? He had a hell of a year when the Ravens won that year. You're opinionated but IMO that's about it.

(29,322 posts)He actually played well in his last NFL game ever.
17-22, 215 YDS, 1 TD 9.7 YPA.
He was actually the backup then later became the starter. The 49ers had one of the lowest payrolls in the league in his last 2 years. I also see in his last season he had 16-4 TD to INT ratio.
Colin Kaepernick is the only player in college football history with 4,000 rush yards and 10,000 passing yards.

(29,322 posts)Patriots used up cap space for title runs and not really prepared for rebuilding.
Also Tampa Bay has very talented receivers and a good coach with Bruce Arians. I doubt Brady would do as well if he signed with the Jaguars
