Hilltoppers Crush Kentucky 107-83

Thursday's game is almost 41 years since 'that' game.
I was in High School and was at a High School Tournament and listened to the game on an Arvin 8 transistor radio pressed against the bus window on the trip home. I remember being super bummed out.
You could not drive around Kentucky for years without seeing just 107-83 painted on rocks, water towers, t shirts, or any flat object not guarded by the police.
Lost that night but reminded me of some sweet times.

I'm not sure how Kentucky got so lucky to have an in-state rival in the first round. Renew Deal Mar 2012 #1

So much for being the overall #1.

Mississippi Valley State. Also WKU has a losing record in not only overall play but 7-9 in the Sun Belt of all conferences.

But I still wonder why WKU was put in that game. Why not keep them away from Kentucky. I think that a lot of the matchups this year are about TV ratings.

but I think the worst 16 seeds play in a play-in game to face the #1 overall seed. WKU/MSVT certainly qualify as the worst 16 seeds.

I would rather play Duke than Western, shit I like Western and Bowling Green is a great little city.
We don't want to play our in state teams, if the player were good enough they would come here. LOL
State of Kentucky, a poor small state, has 4 teams this year in the NCAA's. Douchebags
