Car sales mix of cars in Europe.

Electric is gaining Share for the first quarter.

https://www.euronews.com/business/2025/04/24/are-ev-sales-boosting-europes-car-market-despite-global-uncertainty

Hybrid electric now are 35% of the market with gas at 29%. Electric is 15%

I'm seeing a larger number of pure electrics where I live. The city/power company has installed charging stations all over town. You can track your charging by phone ap.

so far I am very pleased with it. Just about everyone I talk to has the same opinion
about EVs, it's the range on a charge and the lack of charging stations. What ever happened to
the billions of dollars and a network of charging stations in the infrastructure bill? The last I heard
there are only 58 in a handful of states. I have mentioned this numerous times on DU and nobody
ever gave an explanation of what happened.

That it takes time to set up the rules to do this. Then there are location concerns. The effort to place them where they will do the most good. Not just in the well off areas. A bunch of other stuff that goes with having the government do smaller stuff.
The best might have been have people apply for charging locations where they felt there was a need.

Here is one site with some reasons. Which include states and utilities not working on them.
