I just want to be the 1st to tell Brendon Donovan - Good luck cousin. I will always pull for you, nothing but love man.

He hasn't been traded yet, but he's outward bound without a doubt.

I love that guy and hopes he kills it in the future...

But...

I'm a Cardinals fan and honestly, Brandon's best value for my favorite team - in the 1st year of a legit rebuild BTW - is as a trade piece that can stock our farm system.

We have young players we can trot out to flirt with 500 while our future Allstars grow up in Springfield and Memphis

Can play 2nd, 3rd, SS and outfield. Versatile and underrated, IMO.

Looks like the Dodgers and Mariners have interest in him. Seattle, with a few right moves, might be a World Series contender next season.

Seattle snagged him.

The Seattle Mariners acquired All-Star infielder Brendan Donovan from the St. Louis Cardinals on Monday, sources told ESPN, landing the versatile left-handed hitter in a three-team trade that also included the Tampa Bay Rays.
