(13,928 posts)1. As a kid I was a Yankee fan, but my little league team was named the Pirates. l remember where I was when Mazeroski
beat the Yankees in the world series. In a duck pin bowling alley. I was 7 at the time and still remember it like it was yesterday. A special moment in my life, I guess.

I remember listening to a Pirates game on the radio and listened to Maz's first at bat for the Pirates, he had an infield single.

If I wasn't at the game, like you I'd be listening to Bob Prince call the game on KDKA.

My dad used to go to games at Forbes Field when he was younger but unfortunately wasn't there for that one. And it was a couple years befor I was born.
