The most amazing feat of physical prowess that I ever pulled off was a total freak of nature. I may be the least ambidextrous person you have ever known, and that I am right handed are key to this story:
My son and I were on a small boat fishing trip. It was noon and hot, so we anchored the boat in a shady spot and distributed sandwiches and sodas. My son was sitting in the bow facing me and I was sitting on the left side of the small boat. I had a sandwich in my right hand when my attention was attracted to some kind of insect had fallen in the water beside me and was raising a ruckus. In the clear water, I saw a nice fish heading for the bug. I reached out, with my left hand, at exactly the right moment and caught the fish as he hit the bug. With a straight face I told my son to open the ice chest and I tossed the fish into it. My son was more than amazed, and I acted like it was nothing. If I fished for 500 years, I could never repeat the feat. It is a fish story that I rarely tell for the simple fact that everyone but my son thinks that it is a lie.
