I wondered for a minute why it’s throat wasn’t ruby red and then remembered that it’s male birds who have flamboyant plumage.

Sure enough-that’s an image of a male ruby-throated hummingbird from the Audubon.
The little feller looks somewhat indignant.

So they mostly come around and to the windowsill more or less in the evening or early morning. They will be more frequent visitors after the babies have fledged I think usually the male is the first one I see in the spring. It really is dazzling when they stretch out their neck and flash that ruby throat reflection into the sun. Here is a male from last year.
