I saw them playing tag in the Oak Tree about twenty feet from the nest.

My favorite thing in Texas. House Wrens. They aren't afraid of us or the cat, and they're fun to watch all year. We've had at least one nesting pairs every year. Sometimes the one house will get a late 2nd pair in before the end of May.

The Cardinals still haven't hatched. Week two plus two days since they laid the eggs. Gotta be pretty close.
