Saw one of them on a run this afternoon.
I'd be very happy and proud of that photo.

SO many, flying through in fierce wind, and trying to eat some berries!

(2,525 posts)3. Went birding in SW PA today and had some very good looks at Waxwings.
Saw 6-7 of them at eye-level from less than 20 yards. We could see the red-tipped feathers on 3 of the birds.
With the sun at our backs, they were quite striking.
Also saw 3-4 YRWa. Always nice to see them.
