Are the Cowboys the worst managed team in the NFL?

I would say so. They've had hardly any playoff success since the '90s when the had the triplets... Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin...and of course Jimmie Johnson as coach.

The enduring constant since then has been Jerry Jones, the owner who doubles as the general manager. And that's the problem. He hasn't had a good coach since Johnson, who he forced out (Switzer for a minute). He stays with bad coaches too long and makes bad player moves

The latest being that he won't put Dak Prescott on the IR list after he broke his hand in Sunday's game. Supposedly because he thinks Prescott can come back before four games, which is time one has to stay out if on the IR.

That's crazy, a poor decision. Russell Wilson had a similar injury and came back after five weeks and found out he rushed back and wasn't fully healed.

Oh well, another bad GM move, another failed season for the Cowboys. It just keeps going because they have a poor GM.

I think we certainly take that title. Unless you mean professional football, then you could be right

Guess I should've asked are the Cowboys the worst managed of the teams who are supposed to be good. That's every year with the Cowboys but they always end up being also rans.

Dak and Zeke were fantastic in their first two years, but now the league has figured them out and they haven't been able to adjust.

of 45 attempts of field goals over 60 yards, only 2 were successful.

TWO. And the coach took the ball out of the hand of his prized new QB. Not good.

Ever since he fired Jimmy Johnson for getting more (well deserved) positive press for the Cowboy's successes, all he's done is make money and disappoint loyal fans. Fuck the little asshole.

Otherwise the Packers are in the running. Way too much wasted talent.

Actually, the Browns are at the head of this class.

12. Jerry created bad karma when he fired Jimmy Johnson

They were at the top of their game with a super team that Jimmy built from scratch. They had a good three or four more super bowls still in them before Jerry stepped in and got rid of Jimmy.

Was it an ego trip? Was Jimmy getting more credit than Jerry? I wouldn't care to guess.

But one thing for certain is that when Jimmy Johnson was let go, the organization went downhill from there.

Barry Switzer squeezed another title out of Jimmy's team, but that was all she wrote.

Jerry's bad karma has been a jinx to the team ever since.

new coach fired yesterday. Waller, supposedly a tight end on the Chief's Kelce level, had 3 drops, a couple in the endzone. We lose again.

I'm thinking maybe it's the Raiders with the worst management since apparently Marc Davis didn't inherit the good coach hiring gene like his father had before he lost it.

I think the Giants will be all right though. Barkley is back and healthy.

Estimates of their current value vary, but I see estimates of $4 billion up to $8-ish billion.

No doubt, on a season-to-season-winning-games basis, they are shittily managed. But, damn, JJ made an outstanding investment!

If life were just, a man who cheated on his wife would pay a dramatic price someway. It's not apparent JJ never has.

A problem in the NFL is a losing or mediocre team can dramatically increase in value over time. I wish it were more of a meritocracy.
