Darrell Royal, famed U. Texas football coach, passes.

Royal took over a faltering football program in 1957, and proceeded to win 11 conference titles, and 3 national titles. Clearly, he was at Texas what Bear Bryant was at Alabama. Also, a big buddy of Willie Nelson, helping the musician out when he ran into IRS trouble.
