does Stafford retire? I think so. But if the Rams fall short of a Super Bowl, does Stafford come back next year? I'm not sure.

Matthew is playing because the alternative is at home with 5 girls, needs his ‘guy’ time. Yes it’s kinda wrong,
I think he’ll play till he drops.

Different sports, obviously. And Kershaw went out with another World Series.

So, we shall see...

Packers @ Bears and Niners @ Eagles

I’m rooting for Da Bears. I like both teams but Caleb is as advertised. He’s impromptu and can flick it like Mahomes. Fun to watch.

The Niners can put up a lot of points. The Iggles have scored more than 20 only 3 times since their bye week (9 games) - 2 of those were against the Raiders and DC. They mustered 21 in a loss to Dallas. All 3 of those defenses could suck-start a Harley. They also have only given up 20+ 3 times in the same span. If it’s a grind - Philly. If it’s not - SF.

Today Charlotte looks mostly dry but rain and thunder will be near. Chicago is going to be cold and windy (16MPH) at game time

9. More challenging with the point spreads
Sat Jan 10, 2026, 10:16 AM

I was posting threads on games for the entire NFL season about 15 years ago in the Sports forum. Did it for several years.

Favorite / Spread / Underdog (Home team in CAPS)

L.A. Rams / 10.5 / CAROLINA
Green Bay / 1.5 / CHICAGO

Buffalo / 1 / JACKSONVILLE
PHILADELPHIA / 5.5 / San Francisco
NEW ENGLAND / 3.5 / L.A. Chargers

Houston / 3 / PITTSBURGH

------------------------

I'll take all the favorites to beat the spread except for the Rams. They'll win the game but 10 1/2 pts is too much to give IMO.

I think 49ers take the Eagles and I'm praying for a miracle and Steelers punch Houston in the mouth and win!

I'm a Jaguars fan and a 2ndary 49ers fan and HATE Houston.

I'm a lifelong Steelers fan. I have faith in the old guy who's done this before to pull it out. My husband is a long-suffering Bills fan. Time will tell!
