Just have to say

good luck to the Sunday games trying to measure up to the two Saturday match-ups.

What a treat that was for most football fans (understandably, some Cheeseheads and Panthers' fans might feel otherwise).

Being from North Carolina, I was kind hoping that they would pull it off.

(Well, that and being someone who enjoys watching the 'underdog' win out over the 'establishment', I was hoping for it, but alas...)

while not even playing optimally on offense or defense. Jalen Coker had a standout game (more of those are needed next season, along with staying healthy). Everyone else on the Panthers was good or average, IMO.

Hopefully they can make a few adjustments and additions in the off-season and next year they could be a legit contender.

However, although I am from there, the Panthers are not my team. I was a fan of my team looong before the Panthers came to town. And, I don't just change loyalty just because something is closer.

My team made a good showing last year, and then fell on their faces this year. But, this team is rather known for that. It changes nothing. They are my team, irregardless of whether or not they have a good season.

Or, the same name for longer than three years... sigh.

Go Commanders! (Still say it should have been 'Warriors', but whatever...)

I can relate to your disappointment. In one of my fantasy football leagues, I went all in on Jayden Daniels. His body was beaten up for the majority of the season. Mariota got the bulk of the starts.

Consequently (but not entirely due to Daniels' absence) "Scary" Terry had a down year.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt, who I had on another fantasy team, showed flashes of brilliance but disappointed other games. Hopefully he'll perform more evenly next year.

TE Ben Sinnott could turn into something, or not.

Zach Ertz is old and hurt. Von Miller is old. Bobby Wagner is old. Deebo Samuel is a free agent.

I think Washington is going to have to make some good acquisitions before the 2026 season starts if they hope to get a sniff of the playoffs.
