it might be CTE.
A while back a player was caught at airport security with a loaded gun in his carry-on. His defense was that he forgot it was in there. CTE is a plausible excuse now.
Aldon Smith (who was just arrested this week -- AGAIN -- for a DUI)? CTE? Possible.
CTE has been discovered in college players, BTW.
