Level 1 Ranger took out a minotaur on his own, after dodging the Net of Entrapment that got everyone else. 6 rolls of 19 or 20 for my character, 5 rolls of 1 to 3 for the minotaur. The minotaur was only there to tax the party, but the ranger collected the ears. In subsequent games the GM kept throwing minotaurs at us and for 5 out of 6 the killing blow was the ranger's. The 6th was our rogue who tried to read a scroll after the mage was taken out, trouble was it was a trapped scroll ...

After that the GM decided that any time my character entered the dungeon there was an excellent chance of someone hearing a bellow of fear and the fading sounds of hooves running away.

Many and many a story of bad dice rolls throughout the years in many games, but then stories of some very good rolls as well.

Mostly played historical miniatures and historical boardgames.
